I got quoted in InfoWorld last week about Windows Azure Storage and how it relates to typical relational database development.

Also, if you haven’t seen it already, shortly after article came out, the SQL Server Data Services (SSDS) team announced a bunch new features.  It looks like SSDS is going to a be a lot closer to the typical relational database experience under v1.0 now.  This also means that the data storage features of SSDS will be quite different from the features of Windows Azure Storage.  I’m not saying that either will be better or worse – simply different.  Here’s the link to the SSDS announcement.
